💡 WHY DO CAR ROOF LININGS SAG?

Most factory headliners can eventually develop problems as they age.

The foam backing behind the original fabric can deteriorate from heat, age and exposure to the Australian climate. Once the foam breaks down, the adhesive loses its grip and the fabric begins to separate from the headliner board.

The result can be a roof lining that:

• Sags down
• Falls around your head
• Blocks your vision
• Looks untidy
• Drops old orange/yellow foam throughout the vehicle

Unfortunately, once the original foam backing has deteriorated, simply sticking the old fabric back up is generally not a permanent solution.

The old material needs to be removed and the headliner properly recovered with new automotive fabric.

Reece is a qualified upholsterer who furthered his training at TAFE SA in Motor Trimming / Motor Marine Trimming.

Rather than becoming a general automotive trimmer, Reece chose to concentrate heavily on mastering automotive headlining repairs and replacement.

He’s passionate about improving the service, developing new ideas and adding a wow factor to custom projects.

Alongside the hands-on work, Reece manages the business, customer enquiries, marketing and YouTube content.

Beau

Beau works full-time alongside Reece and plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of the business.

He’s known for his patience, professionalism and attention to detail, and is continually involved in improving the quality and efficiency of the service.
