(Non leather) Door trim process
1: Remove the whole door trim panel from the car
2: Separate the plastic welds to detach the door card fabric section.
3: Remove the old fabric, clean trim, & then recover with new foam backed headliner #4 material
4: Reinstall fabric door card piece back to whole door trim using a variety of screws, washers, & liquid nails
5: Reattach door trim back onto vehicle
Bring to us, takes approx. 3 hours/$250 each per door trim
NOTE: Change the price to 300 per door on VW models. Takes approx. 3.5 hours each door.

It’s best not to just do 1 door trim, but the whole set so all the doors match, however we have done just 1 or 2 before, and most customers choose our #4 ebony knit as a replacement. We don’t stock door trim fabric. Instead, we recover these in our headliner fabric, 10 choices altogether. However, let us know if you have supplied fabric you’d like to use instead.

Quick Fix option no glue: we can simply push the fabric back into place. It’s not a long-lasting approach, but it does make it look good again. We can attempt this quick fix, approx. 2 minutes per door, & is free.

Quick fix option with glue: $50 per door trim, takes approx. 20mins each door. We gently peel back what we can/half way, frog tape it up, then apply adhesive to gently reattach the fabric, glue can easily stain or bleed through the material, so it’s carefully added, then push fabric into place, light clean and tidy up.

We can assess the door trim upon arrival to determine which method to use if you’d like to get doors done as well?
Method 1: Remove the trim, detach plastic welds/screws, & then recover the door card. This usually takes 2.5 – 3 hours/$250-300 per door trim.
Method 2: If possible, reattach or reposition the original fabric for a quick tidy-up, typically done on older Toyota Camry/Corolla models. This takes 45 minutes to 1 hour & costs $100 per door trim.

Notes:
Door trims may be presented to us with parts that we may not repair or inside our scope of work eg: broken plastic door trim components, grab handles broken or loose. If reusing the original fabric, we work with what’s provided. It’s best we do a walk around upon drop off to explain to you the expected outcome or suggested approach.

VE Door trim pricing options:
Full job: $250 per trim
If the door trim is already removed: $180 per trim
If the customer removes the door trim, separates the vinyl welds, and brings only the fabric piece, leaving us to handle the recovery with new material: $90 per trim

Toyota Camry/Corolla door trims
The method usually for Toyota Camry/Corolla door trims customers opt for is we stick back the original fabric. It is best to send us a photo of the door trim so we can confirm its the style we can do.
Steps: we peel fabric on door trim back as far up to the door handle, clean up, musk up the area, re glue and position.
Takes approx. 45min – 1 hour per door trim. Total $100 each door trim. Bring to us.
Quick Toyota door trims
A quick tidy up method of door trims can be put through for free during a headliner repair bookings, which is where we add no glue, no cleaning, just quickly feeding back fabric into door card slot, like 5mins each door. However, the other method, at $100 each, is preparing, masking up, tape, removing old foam/glue, applying new glue, trim & tidy etc, to get a more of a permanent hold.
